Abstract:

A system and methods for dynamically changing a trade order quantity in an electronic trading environment are described herein. According to one example embodiment, an automated trading tool determines if a leaned on quantity of a trading strategy has increased or decreased and if so, dynamically changing a desired order quantity to reflect the change in the leaned on quantity. Dynamically changing an order quantity may be more profitable for a trader as order queue position may be maintained and portion of the desired order quantity may get filled; rather than a trader losing their order queue position and/or taking a chance of not getting any of their order quantity filled.

Abstract:

An instrument guide for use with an elongated instrument and a computer assisted surgery tracking system. The instrument guide includes a handle assembly, a localizer assembly connected to the handle assembly at a central bore, and at least one guide sleeve. The guide sleeve has a tip end, an attachment end, and a sleeve bore. The attachment end is configured to be front loaded into the central bore and rigidly and removably connected to the central bore. The front loaded at least one guide sleeve is inserted into the central bore such that the tip end does not pass through the central bore. The guide sleeve receives the elongated instrument at the attachment end, and the sleeve bore has a fixed and known position relative to the localizer assembly such that the localizer assembly is used to determine the trajectory of the sleeve bore.

Abstract:

An X-ray source and a detector array are mounted on opposite sides of a generally horizontally extending longitudinal axis of a rotating base. The rotating base is journaled on a tiltable frame. The frame is supported on curved tracks for tilting by translating along a curved path about a fixed transverse virtual axis of rotation which is perpendicular to and intersects the rotational axis of the rotating base. Tilting the frame permits making an X-ray scan through a layer of a patient which is at an acute angle relative to the longitudinal axis. The azimuth drive for the rotatable frame utilizes a toothed belt. A self-acting friction brake is provided for constraining the rocking base. A hoist is provided for making installation and removal of the X-ray source convenient.
