Abstract:

In one aspect, an air and ground vehicle tracking system includes a base station configured to transmit locations of air vehicles to a radio and a GPS receiver disposed in a ground vehicle and configured to derive a location of the ground vehicle. The radio is configured to receive locations of air vehicles, receive locations of other ground vehicles and broadcast a location of the ground vehicle to the base station. The system also includes a display configured to render locations of the air and ground vehicles.

Abstract:

In one aspect, a method includes sending an interrogation request using an omni-directional antenna at a secondary surveillance radar, receiving, from responding aircraft, interrogation responses comprising identity and altitude, determining a distance to each of the responding aircraft based on a time the interrogation request was sent and a time an interrogation response was received, receiving, from a primary radar, positions of tracks, correlating the distances of each responding aircraft with the positions of the tracks to form a set of candidates by position; and sending identity, altitude and position of a track if there is one candidate from the set of candidates.

Abstract:

A rack of radiographically transparent material for positioning and restraining animals such as dogs and cats during radiographical procedures is shown to include converging load support walls to wedge an animal in either a ventro dorsal or dorso ventral position. The converging walls are truncated and separated to provide space for the dorsal spinous processes and the width of the spline and has sufficient width that the weight of the animal is evenly distributed along its trunk to avoid distortion of its anatomy.

Abstract:

A management software is provided for assisting air traffic control personnel with planning and monitoring aircraft departures and arrivals with regards to one or more airspaces, such as a terminal airspace predefined about an airport. Airspace output data structures are generated by an algorithm included in the management software and coded to a non-transitory computer-readable medium. A system for returning the airspace output data structures includes the management software, the medium, and a processor for executing computer code of the software. The airspace output data structures may include one or more of (a) modeled trajectories based in part on predetermined preferences provided by airline vendors, (b) adjusted departure times for departing aircraft, and (c) departing and arriving trajectory adjustments. A method of assisting personnel in managing aircraft includes the steps of modeling trajectories, comparing the trajectories, and adjusting departure times or trajectories to resolve proximity concerns between airborne aircraft.
