Timothy Sheehan of Decatur, Georgia, had the unofficial lead when play ended with 394,100 chips. Sheehan picked up most of his chips shortly before the final break of the night when he caught Ben Lamb bluffing and eliminated the 2011 WSOP Player of the Year.
Ending Day 1C as the chip leader was Timothy Sheehan who managed to spin his 50k starting stack into 405,000, followed a fair distance behind in second spot by the UKs Ben Vinson (251,000), and then Duy Ho (225,000).
Spisak killed three people over several months at Cleveland State University's campus in 1982, including Reverend Horace Rickerson, 57, university worker Timothy Sheehan, 50, and student Brian Warford, 17.He expressed remorse for the murders, but added that he was annoyed at Brendan Sheehan -- the son of victim Timothy Sheehan -- who became a judge. "The problem I have with him is that he's making this so personal," he said.
Prior to his slaying, Rev. Horace Rickerson, 57, was killed Feb. 1 in a campus bathroom where he rebuffed Spisak's sexual advances. The following Aug. 27, Timothy Sheehan, 50, who worked in Cleveland State's maintenance department, was killed because Spisak believed Sheehan might have witnessed Rickerson's shooting.
