Abstract:

A method for restoring acid etched glass includes grinding the glass and then applying an acid resistant polyester film over the glass. Grinding may be performed in steps going from course to fine grinding pads, and stopping with a 400 grit pad, leaving a somewhat cloudy appearing surface. The polyester film fills in small irregularities in the cloudy glass surface thus eliminating the need to polish the glass.

Abstract:

A method and apparatus for resurfacing a vandalized or damaged toilet seat, in commercial areas in particular. Overlays covering one half of the vandalized toilet seat are provided. Each overlay includes a self adhesive and a peel off cover. The overlays are preferably a thin vinyl material but may be any comparable material. The seat is sanded and cleaned, alignment marks may be made on the vandalized toilet seat and on the overlay, the peel off cover is removed to expose the adhesive, the alignment marks are aligned, the overlay is applied to the seat, and a squeegee used to smooth the overlay and remove bubbles. In another embodiment a plastic overlay snaps onto a damaged toilet seat covering about half the seat. Two overlays are generally applied in a first application to obtain a uniform appearance, and later a single overlay may be applied as needed.

Abstract:

This vessel is a remote controlled pontoon-style boat. The port and starboard pontoons make up the bait holding bays with servo-actuated extraction doors located on the stern of each pontoon. This vessel is used in conjunction with normal fishing gear i. e. , rod, reel, bait, and/or, lures. The extraction door is opened and the bait is inserted into the bait bay. The door is then closed and the vessel is set afloat and sent underway. When the vessel has reached your optimum fishing spot, the extraction door is opened via remote control and the bait is set loose. Fishing is then carried out in the normal way. The advantage of this bait delivery vessel is that its only limitation is the amount of line your reel will hold. The bait delivery vessel can deliver your bait with far greater accuracy and distance than normal bait casting and without the high price of a full-sized fishing boat.
