Abstract:

A tracking system including multiple remote transmitters and a master receiver is disclosed herein. The tracking system is adaptable for use in tracking children, tracking inventory, and numerous other applications. Each of the remote transmitters transmits an electromagnetic signal having an identifying characteristic. The receiver uses the identifying characteristic of the transmitted signal to associate each received transmission with a particular transmitter. The receiver then determines the distance and direction of each transmitting unit from the master receiver, and displays that information, along with a notification, whenever a particular transmitting unit travels beyond a set notification distance from the master receiver.

Abstract:

An automated sales process facilitation tool includes a database. The database is connected to a communicative network. A communicative device of a salesperson is connected to the network. A token is input by the salesperson to and at the communicative device. The token is communicated through the network by the device to the database. The token has a value in a sales effort. The database receives over the network, and processes the token. The database attributes a credit corresponding to the value of the token. The database refines the value based on tokens received at the database. Information of the database relative to the sales process is accessible and viewable via the network from the database. The database ranks information according to respective value to the sales process that is attributed to each piece of information of the database. Each token having value to the sales process is populated in and included as the information of the database. The database corresponds a relative credit (such as based on value) to tokens contributed by salesperson users to the information of value populating the database. The credit, and subsets or aggregated credits for tokens so contributed to information of the database, are communicated over the network to the device for viewing credit score comparisons by the salesperson.

Abstract:

A method to provide information items to a user includes providing, to a user through a user information handling system (IHS), a first task information update that is associated with the user, wherein the first task information update includes a first information item. The method further includes receiving a second information item through a network from an information provider and storing the second information item in an information database. The method further includes receiving task data and storing the task data in a task database, wherein the task data includes a plurality of tasks, at least one attribute associated with each of the plurality of tasks, and a first task that is one of the plurality of tasks and that is associated with the user. The method further includes retrieving the second information item from the information database. The method further includes retrieving the task data from the task database. The method further includes transforming the first task information update into a second task information update by associating the first information item and the second information item with the first task in response to determining that the first information item and the second information item are related to the at least one attribute associated with the first task, and prioritizing the first information item relative to the second information item. The method further includes providing, to the user through the user IHS, the second task information update that is associated with the user in response to determining that the user is associated with the first task.

Abstract:

A method to provide an information item and information expert to a user includes storing a first information item, task data, and a first expert identifier in a database. The task data includes a plurality of tasks and at least one attribute associated with each of the tasks. The first expert identifier identifies a first expert associated with the first information item and/or the first task. A task information update is created by associating the first information item with the first task in response to determining that it is related to the at least one attribute associated with the first task, and by providing the first expert identifier with the task information update in response to determining that it is associate with at least one of the first information item and the first task. Users that are associated with the first task are then provided the task information update.

Method and apparatus are described for separating and cooking egg whites.
