About:

Virginia Clair is Principal Broker and Realtor at Metro Brokers Urban Mountain Associates and she is also the local President and State President-Elect at Women's Council of Realtors. Virginia has practiced real estate since 1992 and opened the doors to her firm during a period when banks were trying to recover from the Savings and Loan fiasco with the help of the RTC and FDIC. Her work, with lender-owned properties during that historical time as a principal in repackaging properties, prepared Virginia for how the market is responding to today’s economy. She has experienced the low’s and high’s both with residential and commercial real estate. While negotiating complex transactions during the early part of her career, she recognized how the study of law could benefit her brokerage business. In 1999, Virginia earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from the University of Denver. She accomplished her goal over four years enrolled in the evening division, while raising her teenage daughter and managing a major real estate project in southern Colorado. Virginia has never practiced law, but she is confident with her knowledge and how it supports her in representing her clients’ best interests. She is a trained mediator and regularly applies those skills to her routine activities in the real estate deal. Professional and poised, Virginia guides that process with expertise that can only be honed after years of training and practical application. Her pride comes from satisfied clients who provide the referral basis for her business. Virginia builds relationships, because mostly “it has very little to do with real estate and everything to do with the people.” As a Senior Olympian in Basketball and Badminton, Virginia loves to play! She is also competitive at tennis. She is an active member with Women’s Council of Realtors, a national network of like-minded professionals. When she isn’t working her business or playing sports, she coaches study skills with middle and high school students because she enjoys the art of education. Her daughter has followed that passion as a teacher and coach.
