A stem tiltable valve assembly whose valve body is provided with a reciprocally moveable stem actuated cup member that incorporates a resilient gasket which makes sealing engagement with a related complementary member of the valve assembly. The valve assembly provides a capability for a maximum dispensing flow through the valve assembly when the valve stem is tilted to open the valve.
Tilt Valve Structure With Bridged Stop For Viscous Flow Liquids
A tilt valve structure for pressurized containers having a base seal which is operated by tiltable deflection of the nozzle to dispense the contents of the aerosol container. The valve structure incorporates a deformable bridge stop structure which retains the structure in a closed but assembled configuration after valve manufacture until usage, including assembly of valve onto a pressurizable container. The bridge stop structure can assume two positions: an initial position and a second valve operating position. The bridge stop structure can be formed of inelastic or elastic material, such as metal.
Cleaning and scrubbing tool having a cleaning head and aerosol can handle in which a suitably operational scrub pad is supported by head bracket extension in free cleaning liquid passing relation, interlocked with portions of the pad by localized deflection of the extension, suitably by locally heating or solvating the extension to deflectable condition within the pad interior.
High Flow Tilt Valve With Accelerating Cam Equipped Moveable Cup
A tilting nozzle valve assembly incorporating a nozzle actuated moveable cup member. The valve assembly has a high flow capability for passing highly viscous fluids therethrough. The moveable cup member provides a positive valve sealing action between itself and a gasket in the valve assembly. The moveable cup member features a camming member which provides both an accelerated valve opening action responsive to nozzle tilting and also a maximizable opening between the moveable cup member and the gasket.
A dispensing package adapted for delivering medicine to a nasal cavity for absorption into the bloodstream comprises a flexible-walled container having a discharge head with a swirl chamber and a dip tube depending therefrom into the container. In use, the container is squeezed to drive liquid up the dip tube and into the swirl chamber to be discharged upwardly into the nasal cavity in the form of a fountain of relatively large droplets. The swirl chamber operates in the absence of air.
Tip Sealing Tilt Valve Structure For Viscous Flow Liquids
An aerosol valve for pressurized containers having a tip seal to seal the dispensing nozzle at its extreme outer end portion and having a base seal in which each seal is operated simultaneously by tiltable deflection of the nozzle to dispense the contents of the aerosol container. Another embodiment of the invention sequentially opens the tip seal followed by opening of the base seal.
Trigger Actuator For Dispensing Pumps With Saddle Pull-Down
A trigger-like actuating element for association with a pump having a depressible piston or plunger for dispensing small metered quantities of a liquid from a container such as a jar, bottle or can, the trigger-like element being designed to be manually operated for substantially horizontal movement to thereby depress vertically the pump piston or plunger in order to deliver a quantity of liquid, usually as a spray, in a horizontal direction.
A stem tiltable valve structure for aerosol containers and the like wherein a moveable cup member is provided which is actuated by stem tilting and which when so actuated undergoes reciprocal sliding movements in the valve structure. In the closed position, a positive sealing action is achieved between the moveable cup member and a gasket. The valve structure is well adapted for the dispensing of a highly viscous liquid.
