Abstract:

A cutting board suitable for commercial or non-commercial purposes in which food can be cut on a cutting surface of the cutting board surface and slid quickly and simply to a separate scale weighing surface of the cutting board surface to be weighed. The weighing surface on which the food is weighed is separately supported by a scale and move upwardly and downwardly independent of the cutting area. The cutting board also includes a visual display that displays information representative of the food, such as, for example, the weight of the food resting on the scale surface. A control panel includes one or more selector switches that allow the user to customize information displayed on the visual display and input information representative of the food. The cutting surface, weighing surface, visual display and control panel are sealed as to prevent food, liquid, washing solution, or the like, from entering the cutting board. The cutting board preferably includes an internally disposed battery for providing power to the scale, display and associated electrical circuitry.

Abstract:

The present disclosure provides a draft beverage tap handle. The handle includes a body portion and a handle portion. The body portion includes a battery, a light source, a microprocessor, a motion sensor, and a timer. The microprocessor controls electrical current supplied to the light source from the battery. The motion sensor detects when the beverage tap handle has been moved to dispense a beverage. The timer causes electrical current to be interrupted to the light source from the battery when a predetermined period of time has expired. The handle portion is made from a translucent material having an internal cavity for accepting the body portion.

Abstract:

A small, wireless, battery operated monitoring apparatus is provided that is installed by a user on a cellular telephone in close proximity to a telephone antenna. The monitoring device monitors telephone usage by detecting and tracking radio frequency signal transmissions from the antenna to a base station. The monitoring device includes a microprocessor that performs functions on data indicative of cellular telephone usage and the customer billing plan. The microprocessor, under control of a call processing program, determines exactly when cellular mobile service is established and terminated at the cellular telephone. Under control of a time tracking program, the microprocessor monitors telephone usage, and generates statistical information indicative of telephone usage. The tracking program allows the user to set parameter values associated with statistical information indicative of a customer billing plan and the current date and time. The microprocessor maintains and updates the statistical information, as necessary.
