I have lived in Charlotte since Jr High, except for a ten year stint in Pennsylvania. We bought a little fishing cabin on Lake Wylie in 1976 and after returning from PA in 2000, we built a permanent home there. We love living on the water, the lake is beautiful and offers a lot of activities in addition to the most beautiful sunsets around. I am married to my high school sweetheart, Sonny (Marvin) Steele and we have one wonderful son, Chris, who also lives nearby. I have worked as an RN, mostly in Labor and Delivery with some management thrown in there for extra measure. I started my career at Presbyterian Hospital and retired from CMC-Pineville in 2010. Sonny started his retail career at Iveys and is currently with Belk at the corporate offices. We have friends that we have had since our school years and friends that we have made since then and we enjoy an active social life. We have 2 labradors, Maggy and Bella and a sassy ragdoll named Lola. We enjoy travelling especially to the Carribean. I enjoy reading, movies, a good game of Texas Hold'em and eating out with friends. One wonderful thing about living in Charlotte is that we can get to the mountains and to the beaches, both in just a few hours.
