Abstract:

An apparatus integrated with micromachined (a. k. a. MEMS, Micro Electro Mechanical Systems) silicon sensor to measure air flow velocity on targeting correction for projectiles arms is disclosed in the present invention. The air flow velocity component perpendicular to the travel direction of bullets with respect to projectile arm body (e. g. bullets, shells, or arrows) has main effect to the targeting accuracy. Such effect is pretty much determined by the wind speed and the projectile travel distance. The integration with MEMS mass flow sensor has made the invented apparatus possible to be compact, low power consumption, low cost and high accuracy. The low power consumption characteristic of MEMS mass flow sensor is especially crucial for making the apparatus of present invention feasible by battery operated.

Abstract:

A removable memory module is designed for connection with a host device using a data port positioned on a face of the host device. The removable memory module comprises a substantially planar body defining a plane and having a memory circuit, and a data interface for connecting with the data port of the host and exchanging data The data interface is coupled with the body to allow communication with the memory circuit and positioned so that when the data interface is connected to the data port on the host, the planar body is positionable so that the plane defined thereby is substantially parallel to the face of the host device on which the data port is positioned.

The present invention discloses a system for and method of managing a project that includes one or more tasks. In one embodiment the task comprises a first task dependent on a completion of a second task. The system and method allow a user to display the relationship between the tasks and scheduled completion dates. Those in charge of a task can thus be held accountable. The system comprises a server with a memory for storing a data structure corresponding to a commitment relationship for a task between a requester and a performer, the data structure containing task data corresponding to a commitment date for completing the task; a first host for use by the requester, the first host configured to exchange negotiation messages through the server with a second host for use by the performer, the negotiation messages containing data related to a proposed commitment date for completing the task; and a second host for use by the performer, the second host configured to exchange the negotiation messages through the server with the first host.
