Abstract:

A system for calibrating waveform generators and receivers of non-overlapping electronic scanning antennas includes a first sub-array, a second sub-array and a calibration cable. The first sub-array includes a first waveform generator, a first receiver, and a first switch assembly. The second sub-array includes a second waveform generator, a second receiver, and a second switch assembly. The calibration cable is configured to selectably form a common calibration path between the first and second sub-arrays based on a position of the first and second switch assemblies. The first and second switch assemblies are configured to enable calibration of the second receiver using an input from the first waveform generator via the calibration cable.

Abstract:

Method and apparatus are disclosed for testing the pressure integrity of blowout preventers and wellhead casing hanger seals. An annular pressure chamber between the blowout preventer and wellhead casing hanger is formed by closing the blowout preventer on a tubular member having a test plug which seats within and sealingly engages the casing hanger. Pressure sensing means disposed along the length of the tubular member are used to monitor pressure above, below and within the annular chamber. Pressure changes detected by the sensing means are indicative of leakage across the blowout preventer or wellhead casing seal.

Abstract:

A light-weight, integrated enclosure and fully-adjustable mounting and support system for transport and use of mobile electronic equipment in the field. A curved upper shell and flat base of sandwich panel construction are connected by reinforced plastic members to form a lightweight enclosure which can be mounted on a truck for transport. The fully adjustable mounting and support system includes rails mounted within the enclosure on which a series of frame elements are horizontally movable to accomodate electronic equipment of varying widths between the frame elements. The frame elements are also lightweight extrusions and include an elastomeric pad engaged in a vertical channel to provide infinite vertical adjustability in mounting the equipment to the frames. The enclosure is shaped for efficiently housing the equipment, reducing aerodynamic drag, and providing superior structural strength and stiffness. A conductive coating or screen may be applied to the enclosure to provide electromagnetic interference protection.
