An application or App on a payer's mobile device is used to discover people known to the user and who are in close proximity to the user at the time of a payment request. Discovery can be through searching contact lists and/or social networks of the payer and/or through the payer device discovering contacts around the payer and then searching the payer's contact or social network list to see if there are any matches. These people are then shown to the user on the user device, such as with a photo, icon, name, and/or email address. The user selects desired ones, which causes requests to be sent to the selected people, such as through text, voice, or email, to the respective devices. The selected people can then easily confirm or authorize a payment be sent to the user or to a payee.
According to an embodiment, a method comprises providing, by a server, a platform including at least one group, wherein each group is associated with at least one product offered by one or more entities over a network, wherein each group is created by a leader user when the leader user is interested in a transaction associated with the product(s), and wherein the leader user decides to add one or more members to the group(s) for the associated product(s) based on one or more attributes of the member(s). The method also comprises displaying consumer data associated with the group(s), the leader user or the member(s). The method further comprises providing access to the one or more entities to the consumer data such that the one or more entities provide incentives to the group(s) associated with the product(s) to encourage the group(s) to complete the transaction associated with the product(s).

Abstract:
A sealing system for process gas leakage from a turbomachine casing is provided. The sealing system may include a seal assembly housing coupled to or integral with the turbomachine casing. The seal assembly housing defines a bore configured to receive a rotary shaft and a sealing assembly. The sealing assembly includes a plurality of carbon rings mounted circumferentially about the rotary shaft. The plurality of carbon rings may include an inboard carbon ring configured to prevent flow of a separation gas inboard of the barrier seal, an outboard carbon ring configured to prevent flow of contaminates into the seal assembly housing, and an intermediate carbon ring interposed between the inboard carbon ring and outboard carbon ring. A pressure differential is maintained across the inboard carbon ring, such that the separation gas is prevented from flowing inboard across the inboard carbon ring by a residual portion of a seal gas.
