Abstract:
A high efficiency, direct conduction track switch heater (24) and associated spring clamp (70) are disclosed. The heater (24) includes a generally blade-shaped jacket (30) dimensioned for mounting on the gauge side 26 of a fixed rail (16) at the track switch interface. The jacket dimensions reduce the likelihood of impact damage due to track switching while providing an enlarged heat transfer surface (66). The spring clamp (70) presses the heater (24) tightly against the rail (16) while accommodating normal thermal expansions and providing a narrow profile for the overall heater and clamp assembly.
Differential Pressure Regulator Quick Release Valve In A Pneumatic Braking System
This invention relates to release/relief valves, trailer brake release valve, and apparatus for equalizing pressure and absorbing shock, as they pertain to pneumatic brake systems for buses, trucks, and trucks/semi-trailers, singular and in multiple combinations in automotive air brake installations; and more particularly to a differential pressure regulator quick release valve that employs a dilivery channel for directing and centralizing fluid pressure differentials to its base housing and the same delivery channel directing the exhaust of fluid pressure to its quick release ports.

Pneumatic Closed-Looped Antilock Pressure Modulating Device For Pneumatic Brake Systems
This invention relates to a pneumatic closed-looped antilock pressure device in a pneumatic brake system for a truck tractors, semi-trailer and buses, and a differential pressure regulator for pneumatic brake system as it pertains to pneumatic brake systems for semi-trailers, buses, trucks, and trucks/semi-trailers, singular and in multiple combinations in automotive air brake installations; and more particularly to a pressure modulating device that employs a diaphragm, piston and elastomeric member with pneumatic antilock brake system functions, a means for modulating pneumatic signals, a means for oscillating pneumatic signals and a means relieve pressure internally, therewith sensing pneumatic shock wave signals, and dampening shock waves, and automatically adjusting brake actuation forces and the degree of angular rotation of the wheels in a closed-looped system without venting pressure to the atmosphere.
