Abstract:

In one embodiment, a beverage dispensing container () includes a primary chamber () for holding a first liquid and a fluid dispensing device () coupled to the primary chamber. The fluid dispensing device is adapted to provide access to the primary chamber when in a first position, and is adapted to fluidly seal the primary chamber when in a second position. The primary chamber further defines a cavity () adapted to receive a second container () therein. The second container holds a second liquid in a second chamber, and has a fluid port adapted to be opened to provide fluid access to the second chamber. A sealing mechanism () is adapted to fluidly seal the fluid port when the second container is disposed in the cavity. The sealing mechanism permits the removal of the second container from the cavity and the reinsertion of the second container into the cavity to fluidly reseal the open fluid port. In this manner, a second container, such as an energy drink container, can be opened and then stored in the sports fluid dispensing container of the present invention in a manner which reduces or eliminates spillage from the open second container.

Abstract:

A stowage band adapted for releasably maintaining parachute suspension lines in a looped condition and also relates to a method of using such stowage band. The stowage band includes an elastic, hollow, seamless, endless ring, or alternatively, an elastic, hollow tube having a first longitudinal end and a second longitudinal end. One of the longitudinal ends is inserted within the interior of the other longitudinal end, and the longitudinal ends are permanently secured together by an adhesive. The stowage band is capable of stretching to a relatively great degree and is capable of rolling and twisting to a relatively great degree. Also, the stowage band tends not to break during normal usage, but is sufficiently weak so that breakage will occur if the suspension lines are severely snagged. The stowage band is wrapped about a stowage holder such that only portions of the stowage band other than the region of the interconnected longitudinal ends surrounds the looped suspension lines.

Abstract:

Examples of the present disclosure describe systems and methods relating to remote vending techniques. In an example, a vending device stocks one or more products to dispense to a user. A user computing device is used to communicate with a vending platform. The vending platform causes the vending device to dispense a product to the user. Since the user interacts with the vending platform and, in some instances, confirms his or her proximity to the vending device, the vending platform is able to gather and validate user information relating to the user and/or the user device. For example, the vending platform may collect a phone number, an email address, a device type, and/or a user location. Thus, such information gathered by the vending platform is usable to contact the user in the future, identify leads, and/or determine whether the vending platform assisted in converting a lead into a customer, etc.
