Abstract:
Inter-frequency handoffs in a CDMA or other wireless communication system are controlled using a noise-limited coverage trigger metric which is able to distinguish between same-frequency cell boundaries and other-frequency cell boundaries in the system. The trigger metric may be generated as a function of an average signal-to-noise measure for pilot signals received at a mobile station of the system and a linear sum of the signal-to-noise measures. The signal-to-noise measures may be generated in the mobile station and included in messages transmitted from the mobile station to one or more base stations of the system. The trigger metric is used to control a handoff from a current frequency to a new frequency in an ongoing call. The trigger metric may alternatively be based on a measure of mobile receive power alone. Other aspects of the invention reduce unnecessary searching for a new frequency and decrease the likelihood of âping-pongingâ from a current frequency to a new frequency by providing additional checks in the handoff process.

Abstract:
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may detect a beam failure associated with a component carrier (CC) of a plurality of CCs that are aggregated. The UE may identify, based at least in part on detecting the beam failure, a CC group in which the CC and one or more other CCs, of the plurality of CCs, are included. The UE may transmit, to the BS, a beam failure recovery request (BFRQ) communication associated with the CC group. Numerous other aspects are provided.
Degradable Extrusion Resistant Compositions And Articles Of Manufacture
A degradable polymer composite comprises a polyurethane comprising one or more of the following groups: ester groups; carbonate groups; or ether groups, in a backbone of the polyurethane; and about 1 to about 30 parts by weight of an acidic or basic powder comprising particles having an average size of about 5 microns to about 1 millimeter per 100 parts of the polyurethane.

Abstract:
A degradable polymer composition comprises a polyurethane comprising ester groups in a backbone of the polyurethane and carboxylic acid groups attached to the backbone of the polyurethane; and a filler comprising one or more of the following: a powder comprising particles having an average particle size of about 5 microns to about 500 microns; or a fiber having an average length of about â…› inch to about 5 inches. Also disclosed are articles comprising the composition. A method to degrade the article includes exposing the article to a fluid at a temperature of about 25 C. to about 300 C.

Abstract:
A method of manufacturing a hemiaminal dynamic covalent network (HDCN) comprises reacting a diamine and formaldehyde in the presence of a reaction medium comprising a polar solvent and a nonpolar solvent at a temperature of about 15 C. to about 100 C. to form the HDCN. A composition comprising the produced HDCN can be molded to form various articles comprising poly(hexahydrotriazine)s.
