Abstract:
Embodiments of the present disclosure generally relate to managing phys of a data storage target device. In one embodiment, a method of managing phys of a data storage target device includes waiting to receive a host address on a target phy and transmitting a target phy address for the target phy after waiting to receive the host address on the target phy. In another embodiment, a method of managing phys of a data storage target device includes configuring a target port comprising a first target phy and reconfiguring the target port comprising a first target phy and a second target phy.

Abstract:
A medical delivery device for delivering a medical device includes a navigable elongated member, a deployment bay, and a compression mechanism. The deployment bay may be configured to house the medical device as the medical device is navigated to the target site. The deployment bay may be at a distal end of the delivery device and may include a distal opening through which the medical device may be deployed. The compression mechanism is configured to longitudinally compress in response to a predetermined force such that the elongated member and deployment bay are relatively closer together along a longitudinal axis of the delivery device.

A method, system and device for implanting an electrode assembly of an implantable medical device in a patient's heart. Positioning one or more radiopaque markers in a coronary sinus of the patient's heart. Positioning, by using the one or more positioned radiopaque markers as a fluoroscopic visual reference, a distal tip of a delivery catheter within a right atrium of the patient's heart so that a distal opening of a lumen of the catheter is against a septal wall of the heart at a location between the ostium of the coronary sinus and the A-V nodal area of the right atrium, and so that the tip of the catheter is generally directed toward a left ventricle of the patient's heart. Advancing the electrode assembly through the lumen of the catheter and into the septal wall.

Abstract:
A pacemaker has a housing and a therapy delivery circuit enclosed by the housing for generating pacing pulses for delivery to a patient's heart. An electrically insulative distal member is coupled directly to the housing and at least one non-tissue piercing cathode electrode is coupled directly to the insulative distal member. A tissue piercing electrode extends away from the housing.

Abstract:
The present disclosure generally relates to recovering storage devices in-field without the need to return the storage device to the factory. The storage device tracks detailed failure information. After receiving a signal or sequence of commands from a host device to prepare the storage device for a recovery download, the storage device determines whether to enter an adaptive field recovery state or a host-selected recovery state. If the storage device enters the adaptive field recovery state, the storage device determines which error state the device is in based on the detailed failure information, and selects an appropriate recovery level. After selecting the appropriate recovery level while in the adaptive field recovery state or after entering the host-selected recovery state, the storage device receives and downloads a recovery download package. The recovery download package comprises one or more recovery actions necessary to repair the error state.

Abstract:
The present disclosure generally relates to a storage device sensing critical failure or PLI events and writing the debug data to a memory device so that when boot-up occurs, at least some debug data is available. A dedicated hardware unit detects when one or more critical failure conditions occur by monitoring the one or more critical failure conditions. The critical failure conditions being detected or sensed triggers the dedicated hardware unit to automatically write debug data stored in a volatile memory device to a non-volatile memory device. The debug data stored in the non-volatile memory device provides a critical failure or PLI trace to determine what occurred leading up to and during a critical failure event. By writing the debug data to the non-volatile memory device, the critical failure trace may be accessed and analyzed after the device powers down or fails.

The next step is to investigate whether it is possible to develop a drug delivery system based on graphene oxide for Alzheimers disease, says Xin Chen. We also want to test whether graphene oxide has beneficial effects in additional models of neurodegenerative diseases, such as Parkinsons diseaReference: Graphene Oxide Attenuates Toxicity of Amyloid- Aggregates in Yeast by Promoting Disassembly and Boosting Cellular Stress Response by Xin Chen, Santosh Pandit, Lei Shi, Vaishnavi Ravikumar, Julie Bonne Khler, Ema Svetlicic, Zhejian Cao, Abhroop Garg, Dina Petranovic and Ivan Mijakovic,
