Abstract:

A system may allow an initial viewing adjustment curve set at a factory to be adjusted by a user, and the adjustment may pull the viewing adjustment curve in a particular direction, but may not result in a multistep, jerky viewing adjustment curve. The curve of the viewing adjustment curve may remain a curve, but, through the use of regions and smoothing, the viewing adjustment curve may retain its curve design.

Abstract:

A controller is used to provide a sharable, programmable and composable infrastructure. The controller includes a user manager to take input of user application programming interface calls that correspond to actions accepted from users. A physical manager fulfills requests from the user manager by manipulating distributed physical resources and logical devices in a network controlled by the controller. A configuration effector implements configuration changes to the physical resources and logical devices. A device monitor determines a status of the physical resources and logical devices, propagates the status to the physical manager for detecting a failure of the physical resources and logical devices in real-time, and mitigates the failure.

Abstract:

The claimed subject matter provides systems and/or techniques that identify service dependencies in enterprise networks. The system can include devices that, based on received network data packets, identify packets with common five tuples, aggregate the identified packets to form transactions associated with individual hosts, and determine delay distributions between one or more services solicited from or in response to the individual hosts. Based on the delay distributions, the system differentiates between dependent service pairs and independent service pairs and thereafter assembles and outputs dependency graphs that include dependency relationships between services from the perspective of a client-side and a server-side.

In one embodiment, the disclosed technology involves modeling network elements, such as router configurations and link information, as well as any generic network status, as data in a relational database. Various network data, such as router states and link states are abstracted into tables in the relational database. Network management operations may then be represented as a series of transactional database queries and insertions. As a result, the database automatically propagates, to the appropriate network elements, state changes that are written to database tables, thereby implementing various network operations. Tables in the database can be constructed at various levels of abstraction, as required to satisfy network operational demands. The disclosed technology involves the use of relational databases in conjunction with declarative language and network-wide, database abstractions to manage and operate networks. The data model creates a logically centralized database abstraction and access point for managing data relevant to network management. Exemplary managed data includes router configurations, network status and provisioning data. This information resides in a single database system which is tightly integrated with the operational network. Transactional write operations are used to change network configurations, and enforce constraints to detect and prevent policy violations during operation. A disclosed example method includes provisioning logically a virtual private mobile network within a wireless network to reduce latency of a communication associated with a latency sensitive application, determining a mobile device is communicatively coupling to the wireless network via the latency sensitive application, and coupling the mobile device to the virtual private mobile network to reduce latency of the communication associated with the latency sensitive application.
