Abstract:
Compounds, compositions and methods are provided that are useful in the treatment or prevention of conditions or disorders associated with a neuropeptide receptor. The subject methods are particularly useful in the treatment and/or prevention of endocrine, metabolic, cardiovascular, neurologic, psychiatric, gastrointestinal, genitourinary and other disorders.
Casein Kinase I Epsilon And Casein Kinase I Delta And Sleep In Humans
Genetic variants of the casein kinase I delta and casein kinase I epsilon genes are disclosed. Herein, two novel mutant casein kinase I delta genes and a novel mutant casein kinase I epsilon gene are disclosed. The protein products of the mutant casein kinase I delta gene and the mutant casein kinase I epsilon gene are also disclosed. The nucleic acid sequences of the invention lead to familial advanced sleep phase syndrome.
