Systems and methods pertaining to wireless power transfer are disclosed. In one implementation, a system includes a wireless charger that is used to charge at least one wirelessly chargeable device. The wireless charger includes a master communication system and at least one wireless power charge transmitter, while the wirelessly chargeable device includes a slave wireless communication system configured at least in part, for communicating with the master wireless communication system in order to execute a wireless power charging operation. The wirelessly chargeable device further includes a wireless power charge receiver configured to receive a wireless power charge from the wireless power charge transmitter contained in the wireless charger.
Payment Systems And Methods For Providing Wireless Power Transfer
Payment systems and methods for providing a wireless power charge are disclosed. In one exemplary implementation, a system includes a wireless charger that is used to provide a power charge to a wirelessly chargeable device. Prior to providing the power charge to the wirelessly chargeable device, the wireless charger obtains payment-related information from the wirelessly chargeable device using near field communications (NFC), and transmits this payment-related information to a payment center via a network such as the Internet. The payment center uses the information to either deny or authorize the power charge operation. If authorized, an authorization indication is provided to the wireless charger via the network, and the wireless charger then wirelessly transmits a suitable power charge to the wirelessly chargeable device.
Calibration And Assignment Processes In Wireless Power Transfer Systems
Systems and methods pertaining to wireless power transfer are disclosed. Specifically, disclosed herein are calibration procedures that incorporate transmission of a reference power charge from a wireless power charger to permit determination of an optimized receiver circuitry configuration in one or more wirelessly chargeable devices. The result of the calibration procedures may then be used by the wireless charger to assign various frequencies to several wirelessly chargeable devices so as to optimally transfer a steady state power charge at one or more frequencies to the wirelessly chargeable devices.
Systems and methods pertaining to multi-frequency wireless power transfer are disclosed. In one exemplary implementation, a wireless charger is used to generate and transmit two wireless power charges at two different frequencies, using a frequency division multiplexed (FDM) format. A wireless sly chargeable device that is inductively coupled to the wireless charger receives the two wireless power charges in the FDM format and uses the two charges to charge one or more chargeable batteries contained in the wirelessly chargeable device.
A method for detecting communication jamming attacks includes collecting, via a processor associated with a base station, local jamming information from a first vehicle and a second vehicle. The local jamming information having an attack time, an attack localization, and an attack frequency. The method further includes building a global jamming map comprising global jamming information, based on the local jamming information, determining, based on the global jamming map, a location of a communication jamming device, and causing to transmit global jamming information to a third vehicle. The global jamming information is associated with the location of the communication jamming device.
Subscription-Based V2X Communication Network For Prioritized Service
Transportation infrastructure provides for vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I) communication over a vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communication network with a V2X transceiver of a vehicle in accordance with a subscription level defining a level of access of the vehicle to data services of a cellular network. An interface controller operates as a gateway between the cellular network and the V2X communication network. A vehicle includes a transceiver for V2X communication. The transceiver provides for V2I communication over a V2X communication network with transportation infrastructure in accordance with a subscription level defining a level of access of the vehicle to a cellular network, and also provides for vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communication over the V2X communication network with other vehicles in accordance with the subscription level.
Systems And Methods For Providing Portable Containers To Users Of Vehicle Services
Systems and methods are disclosed for providing portable containers for users of vehicle services. In an embodiment, a method includes associating a portable container with a user. The method also includes providing a plurality of storage areas disposed about a geographic area. The plurality of storage areas are configured to temporarily store the portable container. The method also includes receiving a request to pick up the portable container from one of the plurality of storage areas. In addition, the method includes delivering, by way of a vehicle service, the portable container to a user location, a specified location, a different storage area of the plurality of storage areas, or a carrier vehicle.
Vehicle Communication Management Systems And Methods
Example vehicle communication management systems and methods are described. In one implementation, a communication management system determines whether a vehicle can communicate with an external system. If the vehicle is unable to communicate with the external system, the communication management system identifies a neighboring device that can communicate with the external system and communicates vehicle information to the neighboring device. The communication management system also requests the neighboring device to communicate the information, and other details from the neighboring device's perspective, to the external system.
