Abstract:
A method for minimizing call drops during a serving cell change is disclosed. A first measurement report message is received from a user equipment (UE) requesting to change an active set of the UE. A second measurement report message is received from the UE indicating a change of a best cell and requesting a change of a serving cell to a target cell. The second measurement report message is processed before the first measurement report message is completely processed.

Abstract:
Systems and methodologies are described that effectuate and/or facilitate MAC-hs/ehs resets in an enhanced serving cell. In accordance with various aspects set forth herein, systems and/or methods are provided that identify transmission power control bits included in active set update messages received from source or target base stations, ascertain whether or not transmission power control values included in the active set update messages differ from transmission power control values that the system currently operates under, and performs serving cell changes and where necessary media access control status resets based on an examination of a transmission power control combination index.

Abstract:
Methods and apparatus are described herein to manage a serving cell change. A HS-SCCH monitored set is maintained to store entries for all pending serving cell change requests. The HS-SCCH for each entry is monitored for a timer period. Once a change request has been confirmed for one entry, monitoring for the other entries continues until expiration of the associated timers.

Abstract:
An apparatus for image rotation. The apparatus includes a first memory, a frame buffer, a rendering module, and a rotation module. The rendering module renders a second image according to second image data, and stores the second image in the first memory. The rotation module detects a variation object changed between the first image and the second image, rotates the variation object as a rotation object, and replaces a partial image of the first rotation image in the frame buffer corresponding to the position of the variation object in the second image with the rotation object.

Abstract:
An apparatus for image rotation. The apparatus includes a first memory, a frame buffer, a rendering module, a rotation object determination module, a rotation module, and a replacing module. The rendering module renders a second image according to second image data. The rotation object determination module detects a variation between the first image and the second image to identify a first image variation object of the first image, a second image variation object of the second image, and a rotated first image variation object of the first rotation image. The rotation module rotates the second image variation object as a second image rotation object. The replacing module retains the first rotation image except the rotated first image variation object and replaces the rotated first image object of the first rotation image with the second image rotation object to form a rotated second image.

Abstract:
Techniques for buffering and resending data in order to reduce data loss during handover are described. A network controller may determine whether or not to buffer data for a user equipment (UE). The network controller may continuously buffer a predetermined amount of latest data sent to a serving Node B if a decision is made to buffer the data for the UE. In one design, the network controller may send data for the UE to a source Node B, perform handover of the UE from the source Node B to a target Node B, resend to the target Node B a portion of the data sent previously to the source Node B, and send new data for the UE to the target Node B. e.g., after the resent data. The buffer and resend feature may be selectively enabled or disabled for each data flow for the UE.

Abstract:
An at-wavelength system for extreme ultraviolet lithography mask blank defect detection is provided. When a focused beam of wavelength 13 nm is incident on a defective region of a mask blank, three possible phenomena can occur. The defect will induce an intensity reduction in the specularly reflected beam, scatter incoming photons into an off-specular direction, and change the amplitude and phase of the electric field at the surface which can be monitored through the change in the photoemission current. The magnitude of these changes will depend on the incident beam size, and the nature, extent and size of the defect. Inspection of the mask blank is performed by scanning the mask blank with 13 nm light focused to a spot a few m in diameter, while measuring the reflected beam intensity (bright field detection), the scattered beam intensity (dark-field detection) and/or the change in the photoemission current.
