    An improved acquisition scheme for a medical imaging and treatment system According to one aspect of the invention, adaptive radiation detection, for determining when therapeutic or diagnostic radiation is being applied, is provided. The imaging device acquires several test images during a preacquisition delay. The maximum intensity level from these test images is defined as the upper limit of a camera s response in the darkness. The standard deviation of the intensity distribution is also computed. The image intensity level of the subsequent test images are compared to a radiation detection threshold which is determined to be the upper limit of the cameras dark signal, plus twice the standard deviation of pixel intensity distribution of the dark test images. If the intensities of a statistically significant number of pixels exceeds the threshold, the radiation is considered to be on. According to another aspect of the invention, a single look-up table is used for both the test images and the actual acquisition images.

    A door hinge assembly with a damper mechanism composing a cylindrical housing with caps on both ends, a shaft eccentrically mounted on the cylindrical body, and two plates mounted on the shaft. Two chambers are constructed with the above arrangement and both chambers are filled with oil-hydraulic fluid. When the shaft rotates with respective to the cylindrical body, one of the two chambers is compressed. With means of communicating the two chambers, a desirable dampening force is obtained. Bias spring(s) can be incorporated into this door hinge assembly to provide closing force, so this assembly functions as a door closer.

    Systems and devices to perform content authoring and establish conversation models for automated agents such as chatbots and virtual assistants are disclosed. In an example, operations for content authoring, to produce a conversation model, include: identifying respective intents from conversation segments in an unstructured data source; generating a knowledge graph of the conversation model to organize the identified intents; linking the intents in the knowledge graph to properties of the respective conversations, for properties used to guide a subject conversation with the conversation model; and outputting the conversation model, to be usable with the automated agent to conduct the subject conversation with a human user. In further examples, the operations include defining trigger phrases, solutions, and constraints corresponding to the respective intents, such that subsequent use of the knowledge graph by the conversation model directs the subject conversation based on an intent expressed in the subject conversation.
