Abstract:

A computer-implemented method as follows. Providing a list of target sequences associated with one or more organisms. Providing a list of candidate prototype sequences suspected of hybridizing to one or more of the target sequences. Generating a collection of probes corresponding to each candidate prototype sequence, each collection of probes having a set of probes for every subsequence. The sets consist of the corresponding subsequence and every variation of the corresponding subsequence formed by varying a center nucleotide of the corresponding subsequence. Generating a set of fragments corresponding to each target sequence. Calculating the binding free energy of each fragment with a perfect complimentary sequence of the fragment. Determining which extended fragments are perfect matches to any of the probes. Assembling a base call sequence corresponding to each candidate prototype sequence.

Abstract:

This invention relates to a three-dimensional image of ground surface and the method and system that generates the three-dimensional image. Here, a three-dimensional image is an image that has three-dimensional XYZ coordinates in a ground coordinate system for every pixel of the image and the ground surface means the bare-earth surface plus all the objects on the bare-earth surface. The scene covered and represented by such a three-dimensional image is a three-dimensional real world scene where everything visible in the three-dimensional image has three-dimensional coordinates. The three-dimensional XYZ coordinates of all the pixels of a three-dimensional image are attributed by the method and system of this invention for generating three-dimensional images with airborne oblique/vertical imagery, GPS/IMU, and LIDAR ground surface elevation or range data. On such a three-dimensional image, one can make direct measurements of location, length, distance, height, area, and volume and indirect measurements including but not limited to profile and sight of view all in the real world three-dimensional coordinate system. Additionally, application systems that utilize three-dimensional images can make three-dimensional displays or perspective views of the ground surface with fly-through or walk-through, rotations and zoom in and out, and three-dimensional manipulation and simulation of ground surface.

Abstract:

This invention relates to a product called unified spectral and geospatial information model and the method and system that generates the model. Here, the model comprises an airborne image of ground surface. The image in such a model has three-dimensional XY2 coordinates for every pixel of it and particularly multiple pixels of the image can have same XY coordinates. The XYZ coordinates of all the pixels of the image are uniquely attributed by the method and system presented in this invention. An image of the unified spectral and geospatial information model always covers a scene of ground surface. And, all objects visible in such a scene are measurable in terms of both radiometry and geometry. The unified spectral and geospatial information model can be made by the method and system of this invention with airborne imagery, GPS/IMU data, and ground surface elevation or range data.

Abstract:

Described is a technology for load testing a service such as a medical data service (e. g. , Microsoft Amalga UIS) with mixed test sets. Simulated users perform randomly selected operations against the service. State machines are created to represent the simulated users, with the operations arranged within states of the state machine. By randomly selecting each state and its operations, the actions of many real users may be simulated, providing a realistic load test of the service. Moreover, to match certain types of usage scenarios, the states in a state machine may be weighted relative to one another so that the random selection is biased in favor of more weighted states. Similarly, each operation within a state may be weighted relative to each other operation within the same state, so that when a state is determined, the random selection is biased in favor of more weighted operations within that state.
