Abstract:

Techniques and systems to provide speech recognition services over a network using a standard interface are described. In an embodiment, a technique includes accepting a speech recognition request that includes at least audio input, via an application program interface (API). The speech recognition request may also include additional parameters. The technique further includes performing speech recognition on the audio according to the request and any specified parameters; and returning a speech recognition result as a hypertext protocol (HTTP) response. Abstract:

A guide catheter extension device for use with a standard guide catheter. The guide catheter extension device is made up of a flexible, elongate extension catheter having a tapered tip portion at a distal end, an opening at a proximal end, and a body portion extending between the two. The extension catheter has a longitudinal slit extending from the distal tip portion toward the proximal opening. Methods of using the guide catheter extension device to aid in performing interventional cardiology procedures.
