Abstract:

A sequencing mechanism for a slide assembly having at least three segments, including an outer slide segment, one or more intermediate slide segments and an inner slide segment. The sequencing mechanism ensures that the inner and intermediate slide segments extend together, from a substantially retracted position, until the intermediate segment reaches substantially full extension. The sequencing mechanism includes a sequence latch pivotally attached to the intermediate slide segment and configured to operate in both an upright orientation and an inverted orientation of the slide assembly. The latch has a hook portion at one end and a transversely extending tab portion at the opposing end. The hook portion selectively engages an opening in the inner slide segment to lock the inner slide segment to the intermediate slide segment. An actuator is connected to, or formed from, the outer slide segment and is configured to engage the tab portion of the latch to unlock the inner slide segment from the intermediate slide segment. In addition, the actuator engages the tab portion of the latch to lock the intermediate slide segment in a fully extended position.

Abstract:

A mounting apparatus is provided for mounting a computer server in a server rack structure. The server rack defines a first and second mounting apertures. A slide is provided having a bracket mounted to one end thereof. The bracket includes a first wall abutting the rack, and a second wall transverse to the first wall. A portion of the bracket extends into the first mounting aperture. A latch is mounted on the second wall of the bracket. The latch is movable between a first position wherein the latch extends into the second mounting aperture, and a second position wherein the latch does not extend into the mounting aperture. The latch cooperates with the portion of the bracket extending into the first mounting aperture to limit vertical movement of the bracket with respect to the rack.

Abstract:

A cable management device for managing cables extending between a support rack and an object slideable in and out of the support rack includes a support having a stop member and a mounting surface that is removably fastenable to the support rack. A first elongate member extends between a proximal end and a distal end and is pivotably fastened to the support at the proximal end. A second elongate member extends between a proximal end and a distal end, the proximal end of the second elongate member pivotably fastened to the distal end of the first elongate member. The first and second elongate members are movable from a folded position where the elongate members are substantially adjacent each other to an unfolded position, wherein the stop member limits the rotation of the first elongate member between the folded and unfolded positions to about ninety degrees.

Abstract:

Methods and apparatuses are provided that facilitate providing quality of service for similar priority logical channels at least in part by assigning dynamic priority levels to the logical channels to allow certain logical channels to be assigned resources before other logical channels. Dynamic priority levels can be assigned based at least in part on a total accumulated used bytes of a given logical channel scaled by a prioritized bit rate of the logical channel. Thus, logical channels with a lower number of total accumulated used bytes scaled by the prioritized bit rate can be assigned higher priority to ensure resources are assigned to the logical channels. Moreover, the dynamic priority levels can be normalized to align the dynamic priority levels within certain values so as not to interfere with other logical channels of different assigned priority.

Abstract:

An embodiment of the present invention is a technique for dental bleaching. A tray covers teeth of a user and has a reservoir. A conductor is placed inside the tray. The conductor is covered by a bleaching agent when the bleaching agent fills the reservoir. Abstract:

A tooth whitening apparatus and method using an intra-oral light generating device, whereas the light generating device is placed inside a patient's mouth and bucally to the jaws to produce a light source, comprises the steps of applying inside a means for depositing and applying, adapted for the upper and lower jaws, a tooth whitening agent comprising an optical chemical agent. The method further includes the steps of placing the means for depositing and applying filled with a light-activated, tooth whitening agent into the patient's mouth, onto the corresponding jaws and positioning the light generating device, inside the patient's mouth, bucally to the jaws, whereas the intra-oral light is located adjacent to surface of the means for depositing-and-applying, and on the inner surface of the cheeks and lips of the mouth of said patient. Therein the intra-oral light activates the tooth whitening agent for a period of time.
