A generally planar writing instrument comprises a cap with anchoring and clipping means for attachment to a key ring, a watchband, a shirt pocket or the like, and a holder having finger gripping recessed surfaces and fastening means adapted to temporarily retain the holder on a finger of a user between uses as well as to securely store the holder in the cap when not in use.

Abstract:

This invention pertains to a food spill catching device comprising a first device body coupled to a second device body by pivotal means. The two device bodies are frictionally movable relative to each other into, and out of, closed position facing each other. The second device body may be held on a table while the first device body is adapted to serve as a shield for protecting a user's clothing from being soiled by food spills while dining at a table.

Abstract:

An improved page marker for positionable and removable attachment to a sheet comprising two panels and one extending area. The panels, which may be in an extended or unfolded position or may be folded back against each other along a common bend or crease, are used in conjunction with a conventional paper clip to secure a sheet. Both panels consist of retainer means to keep the paper clip in position when the page marker is being moved by force. The area extending beyond the two panels and the clipped sheet serves the purpose as a marking or message means for a book, a filing system, or the like papers.
