Eagle Scout Award Boy Scouts of America I received the Eagle Scout Award (Boy Scouts of America's highest honor) in the winter of 2005. My Eagle Scout Project was to build a new trail in a local park of my hometown. Along with building and renovating the 3/4 mile trail, I was tasked to construct a mailbox at the beginning of the trail and numbered signs to put throughout the trail. These signs would signify interesting points in nature that a wildlife intern and I found. We then put together a brochure about these points, and placed them in the mailbox. Finally, I made a CD and cassette tape recording of a walking tour for the trail and park.
