There is provided a controller for a fabric grooming device to provide optimal user convenience, operational ease, and efficiency in use. The controller has at least an interface, a microprocessor, a sound generator, one or more sensors, a heater, and a timer. The controller may also have any of a variety of other features, such as, for example, a vibrator. Abstract:

A footbath with an infrared sensor to detect the presence of a foot within the footbath. The footbath employs a sender to transmit an infrared signal and a sensor to receive the infrared signal. When a foot breaks the transmission of the signal, the unit will commence operating. When the foot is removed, the sensor will resume receiving the signal and the unit will automatically shut off.

Abstract:

A hairdryer control panel and switch system includes a fan speed switch (), a heat setting switch (), a “cool” switch () and a “turbo” switch (). The speed switch () and heat switch () are bi-directional and, preferably, membrane switches. The “cool” switch () and the “turbo” switch are also, preferably, membrane switches. By advancing the speed switch () in either direction, a visual selection indicator () is moved among a displayed array of speed setting selections, corresponding to predetermined fan or motor speeds. Similarly, the heat switch () is manipulated to move a visual selection indicator () among various heat settings.

A rechargeable hand held or floor supported multi surface cleaner is adapted to use rechargeable, dry cell batteries or a line cord connected supply to power one or more rotating power drives or counter rotational or linear power drives and cleaning brushes.
