Abstract:
A computing device prompts a user to supply installation parameters for joint installation of an operating system and core software on a server device, and stores, in a memory, the installation parameters received from the user. The computing device provides, to the server device, instructions to install an image of the operating system directly to volumes for the core software, where the instructions require input of installation parameters during the installation. The computing device also receives, from the server device and during the operating system installation, requests for the installation parameters. The computing device sends, to the server device, the stored installation parameters that are responsive to the requests for the installation parameters.

Abstract:
A process for the preparation of R. alpha. -cyclopentenoids and then R. alpha. , R. omega. -cyclopentanoids is described. The process involves the reaction of a compound of the formula ##STR1## where X is halo, particularly Br or I and P is a protecting group with an alkylborane to produce the R. alpha. -cyclopentenone. The R. alpha. -cyclopentenone is reacted with a R. omega. cuprate to produce the R. alpha. , R. omega. -cyclopentenoid. The process is used for the preparation of prostaglandins which are known pharmaceutically active compounds.
A smart cable lock is provided that is configured to mechanically secure items and provide an automatic determination that securing is achieved. The smart cable may be integrated into a vehicle, or otherwise may communicate with a vehicle. The vehicle includes one or more ports configured to house the cable when not in use. In some embodiments, an accessory includes one or more ports configured to engage with the connector. In some embodiments, the cable is affixed to the vehicle at one end, using a retractor, for example, and can be unspooled, intertwined with equipment, and then secured to a port on the vehicle. The smart cable lock secures and releases a latch based on user indications and authorizations. For example, if the cable is destroyed or damaged, or an unauthorized indication is made, the cable lock system may sound an alarm, or otherwise alert the user.
Our world has not benefited from treating children like a disease that needs to be cured. We would need to stop obsessing over everything going perfectly, trying to plan everything, and treating people like profit and loss centers, Matthew Braun, 39, Virginia.
