I've been involved in real estate one way or another for the last 20 years. Got the bug in 86'-87' with the original "Buy Owner" company back in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Boy did real estate agents hate us! (Still do I suppose). I even became an agent myself for a while after leaving "Buy Owner", but then I met a couple of private investors and found the investing end of the business to be more fun. These days, I'm still buying/selling real estate and I've been in the mortgage business since about 02'. But with the mortgage market being in "meltdown" as the media describes it, I've taken time to start writing a "how to" manual about how my partner and I have managed to find "tenant -buyers" for our properties, in most cases (all but one), within 30 days or less by selling our homes on a "Rent to Own" basis. I've also started putting together a plan to consult with other sellers to sell their homes the same way. Okay, enough about me. Anyway, lifes a hoot and we keep chugging along enjoying the view as we go ... and I hope you can do the same!
