Abstract:

In a wide variety of human solid tumors, an aggressive, metastatic phenotype and poor clinical prognosis are associated with expression of the receptor tyrosine kinase Met. Disclosed herein are (a) a monoclonal antibody named Met4, which antibody is specific for Met, and (b) a hybridoma cell line that produces Met4. The Met4 antibody is particularly useful for detecting Met in formalin-fixed tissue. Methods of using the Met4 antibody for detection, diagnosis, prognosis, and evaluating therapeutic efficacy are provided.

Abstract:

Methods and systems to automatically respond to consider the weight of a request when responding to requests associated with resources are described. In one embodiment, an interface module may be configured to receive a request associated with consumer identifier and a resource. A calculator module may be configured to determine a weight of the request and a usage module configured to calculate, using a processor, a usage level associated with the consumer identifier, the usage level based on a usage history associated with the consumer identifier. An enforcer module may also be configured to respond to the request based on the usage level and the weight of the request. In one embodiment, the usage module may also be configured to update the usage level associated with the consumer identifier based on the weight of the request.

Abstract:

This application relates to methods and apparatus for waterproofing an electronic device having an audio output. More particularly a method for dynamically forming an acoustic volume of air for a speaker component is disclosed. The dynamically formed acoustic volume creates a sealed volume of air that prevents moisture from entering a portion of the device that includes moisture sensitive components. By dynamically forming the acoustic volume during a blow forming operation, the acoustic volume can utilize unused space within the electronic device in a highly efficient manner by occupying small areas of unused space that would otherwise go unused.
