Abstract:
A computed tomography (CT) reconstruction method includes implementing an iterative image reconstruction process for CT metrology of an object, wherein the iterative reconstruction process utilizes accurate forward projection. During each of a plurality of iterations, a reconstructed image is constrained by utilizing prior outer edge information obtained from a modality in addition to CT, and then transformed to a projection domain so as to generate a calculated sinogram. A correction image is determined based on the calculated sinogram and a measured sinogram.
Methods for training a generative adversarial network (GAN) in conjunction with a convolutional neural network (CNN) are disclosed. The GAN and the CNN can be trained using biological data, such as protein interaction data. The CNN can be used for identifying new data as positive or negative. Methods are disclosed for synthesizing a polypeptide associated with new protein interaction data identified as positive.

System And Method For Reducing Hydrogen In A Casting
A method involves filling a hydrogen-lean molten material in a crucible and closing a lid of the crucible and then feeding a first quantity of a compressed dry gas via the crucible to form a dry gas blanket on a surface of the hydrogen-lean molten material. The method further involves feeding a second quantity of the compressed dry gas to a mold assembly to purge the mold assembly and transferring the hydrogen-lean molten material via an opening of the lid of the crucible to a mold cavity of the mold assembly. The method further involves cooling the hydrogen-lean molten material to form a casting.
