Meritorious Civilian Service Department of the Air Force Ms. Sharon McNally distinguished herself in the performance of outstanding service to the United States while serving as the Financial Manager for the Distributed Information Systems and Experimentation group at the Naval Postgraduate School from 01 March 2010 to 31 August 2012. For meritorious service in support of the US Central Command Fastlane initiative, Beyond Line of Sight – Command and Control, Ms. McNally demonstrated extraordinary financial management prowess overseeing over $100 million in funding in less than 18 months. In that capacity, Ms. McNally coordinated the movement of funds between three Services and more than 10 separate contracts to ensure the successful deployment of the Beyond Line of Sight – Command and Control architecture. This unique architecture is designed to satisfy a CENTCOM Capability Gap that supports a US Naval Central Command force protection threat as well as a US Central Command contingency plan. Ms. McNally’s dedication to duty and exemplary personal motivation reflect great credit upon herself and in keeping with the highest traditions of any Service are noted with great appreciation for a job well done!
