Robert D. Harris - Logan UT
William R. Hachtmann - Oakhurst CA
Daniel Haynie - North Logan UT
  • Assignee:
RDH Enterprises, LLC - Logan UT
  • International Classification:
    A61H 100
  • US Classification:
    601 98, 601 84, 601101, 601 24, 606240
  • Abstract:
An apparatus for performing spinal therapy is disclosed and includes a base assembly having a pair of spaced-apart, vertically extending guide posts and at least one stabilizing foot associated with each guide post and capable of pivoting from a folded to an expanded position to stabilize the apparatus during use. A lift bar assembly is disposed between the guide posts. The lift bar assembly includes a horizontal cross bar interconnected between two lift bars which are slidably attached to the guide posts. An elongated fluid filled pad is disposed between the guide posts and over at least a portion of the horizontal cross bar. An actuator, including a motor operably connected to the lift assembly, is used to selectively raise and lower the lift bar assembly. A cable and pulley system is incorporated into the apparatus for raising and lowering the lift bar assembly in a uniform manner.
  • Spinal Therapy Machine

  • US Patent:
    6652564, Nov 25, 2003
  • Filed:
    Jul 9, 1999
  • Appl. No.:
    09/350593
  • Inventors:
    Robert D. Harris - Logan UT 84323
    William R. Hachtmann - Madera CA 93637
  • International Classification:
    A61E 500
  • US Classification:
    606237, 606240, 602 32
  • Abstract:
A spinal therapy machine having an inflatable bladder. A rigid restraint running around the bladder causes the inflation to rise rather than to expand outward. Rings connected to the ends of the bladder are slidably attached to one or more posts that extend generally perpendicular to whatever structure upon which the bladder is placed. Either a control unit operated directly by the user or a computer direct the inflation of the bladder and, consequently, the elevation of a pad removably attached to the top of the bladder. Inflation is provided by a vacuum motor preferably connect to the bladder with a large tube in order to enable rapid changes in the degree of inflation.
  • Device For Cleaning Grooved Surfaces Of A Moving Transport

  • US Patent:
    8555461, Oct 15, 2013
  • Filed:
    Nov 10, 2010
  • Appl. No.:
    12/943184
  • Inventors:
William Hachtmann - Madera CA, US
  • International Classification:
    A47L 9/04
  • US Classification:
    15354, 15320, 198495, 198496
  • Abstract:
The device for cleaning grooved surfaces of a moving transport, such as escalators and moving walkways, includes a frame supporting at least one vacuum pump and a plurality of vacuum heads and a plurality of brush heads. A carriage is attached relative to the frame to which at least one of the plurality of vacuum heads and brush heads are slidably attached. The carriage can be attached to the frame in a multitude of ways, including utilizing a four-bar linkage. The carriage is positionable between a stored position and a deployed position. Additionally, the carriage can be angularly adjustable to align with a horizontal plane of the grooved surface. A handle can be pivotably attached to the frame wherein pivotable movement of the handle is mechanically coupled to movement of the carriage between the stored and deployable positions.
